Dr. Weiner-Lasher is an expert witness who works with both defense and plaintiff attorneys. She is an expert in both the field of physical and occupational therapy. She has been practicing in both disciplines for over twenty years. She specializes in inpatient and outpatient settings, serving adult, pediatric, orthopedic and neurological populations. She is licensed in NY and NJ and has reviewed a multitude of cases nationwide.


Dr. Weiner-Lasher provides a range of services in litigation cases dealing with malpractice, negligence, and/or any deviation from the standard of care practice in settings where physical and occupational therapy services occur.

Specialties


Dr. Weiner-Lasher works directly and closely with lawyers, insurance companies and private businesses to provide therapeutic consultation and physical and occupational therapy expert witness services based on expertise and evidence-based research. In conjunction with her expertise, Dr. Weiner-Lasher uses the 1) APTA/AOTA guide to practice, 2) the code of ethics and 3) the standards of practice acts in conjunction with her expertise to guide her in her work.
